Quaker Spirit Wear!

Friday, 2/21, is Eastern’s Homecoming!  PTSA will have a table selling Spirit wear at the Fieldhouse during the basketball game if you need any Quaker gear.  We should be set up around 6:30pm. Come get your blue and gold and cheer on Eastern.  GO QUAKERS!

Quaker Wrestlers Advance to Individual Regionals

This past weekend the Quaker Wrestling program participated in the MHSAA Individual Districts and will send two wrestlers to the MHSAA Individual Regional Tournament.  Congratulations to Manuel Leija who took 1st place at the 119 weight class and Ali Ali who placed 3rd in the 160 weight class .  Adam Abdelbassit, Berto Teran and Rolando Bell battled

Wrestling Senior Night, 2/5/20

Women In Sports Leadership Conference

On February 2nd and 3rd the MHSAA held the 24th annual Women in Sports Leadership Conference at the Crown Plaza.  Student-Athletes from Eastern attended and there were numerous opportunities throughout the conference for them to gain better understanding of the responsibilities in sports leadership.  At the conference the young ladies were able to meet Michigan

Varsity Basketball vs Haslett 1-24-20

The Quaker Basketball Programs faced Haslett HS on Friday, January 24th at the historic Don Johnson Fieldhouse. Girls Varsity Basketball The Lady Quakers were defeated by the Vikings of Haslett, but battled and played an impressive 1st half against an experienced Haslett team. Camille McCord led the way for the Quakers, scoring 10 points.    

Sheridan Leinbach-Finalist for the MHSAA Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete Award

Congratulations to Sheridan Leinbach for being named a finalist for the MHSAA-Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete Award!  Sheridan is a 3 sport athlete, participating in Cross Country, Swimming, and Track & Field.  Sheridan is also a full International Baccalaureate student.  Great Job Sheridan!
